Oily sewage is produced in large quantity and involves a wide range of fields, such as oil exploitation, oil refining, petrochemical industry, storage and transportation, tanker accidents, ship transportation, vehicle cleaning, machinery manufacturing, food processing and other processes. Physical treatment includes gravity method and gas float method. Air flotation is mainly used to remove dispersed oil and emulsified oil in sewage. Especially for emulsified oil, because of the double charge on the surface of the oil particles, the zate potential is high, the surface tension is large and stable, it is difficult to remove by oil separator alone. However, the addition of chemical substances will destroy this balance, achieve the purpose of demulsification, and achieve better treatment effect.

Biological treatment methods include anoxic-aerobic biological treatment process, IMBR-A/O process (integrated membrane bioreactor), biofilm process (biological aerated filter), hydrolytic acidification-aerobic biological treatment process and biological turntable process.

Precautions for the treatment of oily sewage with polyacrylamide
First, because most oily sewage has a certain pH, pH value will affect the treatment efficiency of polyacrylamide sewage, so you can increase polyacrylamide;
Two, the use of polyacrylamide with other oil removal agents, can obtain better sewage treatment effect;
Three, if the concentration of oil pollution is too high, the oily sewage can be diluted first to ensure that the polyacrylamide will not be cleaned up because of the concentration of oil pollution is too high.

The waste oil will damage ecosystems, plants, soil and water. The properties of oil refining wastewater are different, the composition is complex, and the index value of wastewater is large. Physical treatment, physical chemical treatment and chemical treatment all have certain treatment effects, but they are not ideal. As for the effective treatment method, it is a combination of physical, physical and chemical treatment and biological treatment. It not only has high treatment efficiency, but also has low risk of secondary pollution to the environment. More importantly, it can effectively treat water and become an important reuse water resource, which has important practical significance for alleviating the shortage of water resources.
